IDimage in Action:

Over 70,000 identities are managed in the Chemparks of Currenta managed. As one of Germany's leading industrial sites, Currenta stands for innovation and security at the highest level. The company offers state-of-the-art infrastructure and operational capabilities for manufacturing companies in the chemical industry and other industrial sectors. Efficient and precise identity management is essential to ensure the smooth running of the numerous processes in the Chemparks. With the introduction of IDimage in Dormagen, the first step towards a future-oriented ID management system has now been taken.

Plug and Play: Easy Installation and Setup

Within a very short time, eight workstations in the ID office in Dormagen were equipped with the new AI-supported image capture solution IDimage. Implementation proceeded faster than expected: Within just four hours, all workstations were installed and operational. Thanks to evolutionID's plug-and-play approach, the transition was effortless and efficient.

State-of-the-Art Technology: From Camera to Software

The complete package from evolutionID includes not only the innovative software but also the associated hardware components such as cameras, lighting, and mounts. These components are perfectly coordinated to ensure that image capture is as simple and precise as possible.

With IDimage, photos of ID holders are now taken with just one click. The AI ensures that the face is correctly positioned, the image is automatically cropped to the defined format, and the background is neutralized. Manual adjustments are now a thing of the past – the process is largely automated and significantly simplified.

Rapid Implementation Compensates for Delays

Various delays occurred during the project, but these were largely offset by the rapid implementation of the installation. Equipping the existing workstations with the new image capture software proceeded smoothly and efficiently. The project's success is attributable not only to the excellent work of evolutionID but also to Currenta's optimal preparation, which significantly supported the project's success through its well-structured processes and experienced project management.

Currenta: A Pioneer in Security and Efficiency

Currenta has always relied on the highest safety standards and efficient processes in its Chemparks to operate the industrial site optimally. The introduction of IDimage is another example of how Currenta continuously invests in modern technologies to make operations even safer and more efficient. This successful collaboration with evolutionID has paved the way for a further, more intensive partnership. Both sides agree: the harmonious and goal-oriented cooperation will continue and be expanded in the future.

With IDimage, Currenta's ID management is state-of-the-art – a step that significantly simplifies and accelerates the management of over 70,000 identities. Currenta thus demonstrates once again how the targeted use of technology creates added value for the security and efficiency of the Chemparks.

About us
For more than two decades, evolutionID has helped organizations bring clarity and control to identity and access. We focus on what matters most: secure, reliable processes that are simple to operate and built to last.

We bring together Physical Identity & Access Management (PIAM), card and employee management, and RFID‑supported workflows into one coherent approach. Our modular building blocks allow identity and access systems to adapt over time—without disrupting what already works. The result is less complexity, more transparency, and greater confidence in everyday operations.

As a long‑term partner, we guide our customers step by step—from analysis and architecture to implementation, migration, and ongoing support. With teams in Munich, Bonn, and Frankfurt, we work closely with organizations across the DACH region to create access infrastructures that stay secure, stable, and ready for what comes next.
