Why IDfunction Won the Contract

In the tender process, evolutionID, with its integrated production system IDfunction , quickly came out on top in meeting the requirements specification and was awarded the contract for the project.

The Implementation

“We precisely adapted the new badge creation system to the customer's requirements and embedded it into their IT system landscape,” explains Haris Mahmutovic, Software Developer at evolutionID. “In doing so, we migrated the data from the existing system, ensuring that the history of all produced orders remains traceable.”

Primion can process future media encodings as usual via its order processing system – into which evolutionID's new system seamlessly integrates: Orders are automatically retrieved from CRM data and imported into the IDfunction database. Based on the order information, the software then also fully automatically creates the necessary data records. For each order, the corresponding badge number is added either automatically or manually.

The Production Process

In the Order Center and the Badge Department, order data can still be modified or corrected before production via IDfunction's ergonomic and intuitive input mask. Each department receives a notification via the automatic IDfunction notification system when a relevant processing step has been completed.

After production, a dynamic log of all produced badges is created. Based on this data, the new badges can then be accredited in their designated security system.
